The Patriots blew a 10-point fourth-quarter lead but managed to hold on for the win.
Jonah Attoeled led the Patriots with 19 points and Jake Connor added 16. The Centurions' Nick Chase led all scorers with 29 points.
Wilmington Christian (12-9) plays Greenville Christian on Monday.

O'Neal School 42
The Hurricanes jumped out to a 20-14 halftime lead and outscored O'Neal 29-28 in the second half.
Daniel MacRae led the Hurricanes with 18 points and Barney Beermann added 14.
Cape Fear (6-13) plays Village Christian on Thursday.

The Centurions were up 27-16 at the half and then exploded for a 17-2 run in the third quarter to pull away from the Patriots.
Lauren Duncan led the way for the Centurions with 23 points and Nicki Huntley added 13.
Coastal Christian (13-7) plays O'Neal School on Saturday at 11:30 a.m.

The Eagles came from two down in the fourth quarter to pick up the road win.
Lacey Suggs led the way for the Eagles (15-3, 5-1) with 21 points.

The Bulldogs struggled on the road against first-place Lakewood (16-1, 8-0).
Wallace (2-12, 2-6) plays Midway on Tuesday.

Topsail's swim teams performed well as the Pirates girls won their meet with a score of 111 and the boys came in second place with a score of 71.

The following basketball matchups were scheduled for Friday night, but were delayed until Monday due to potential bad weather. All varsity girls games are scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
