Boys Basketball

North Brunswick 76, East Columbus 54

The Scorpions gave the knockout punch in the second quarter when they outscored East Columbus by 14.

Nic Sloan led the way for the Scorpions with 21 points and Jaeden Phillips added 18.

North Brunswick (4-1)plays at Trask on Friday.



Jones 65, Trask 62

The Titans were outscored by 10 in the first quarter and it was too much to overcome as they dropped their second game in as many days.

They were led by Rahseed Brown with 14 points, and Marcuss Porter scored 13. Trask (2-4) plays North Brunswick on Friday.



Clinton 61, Wallace-Rose Hill 58

The Bulldogs came out sloppy and trailed by 15 at the half. They had a late surge and controlled the second half but it was too little, too late.

Marquel Newkirk led the way for the Bulldogs with 24 points. Wallace (2-4) plays Lakewood on Tuesday.



Wrestling

Laney 63, Hoggard 9

The Buccaneers had eight pins and one forfeit as they dominated Hoggard. Laney won every match from weight class 145 to weight class 285.
