Girl's Basketball

Cape Fear academy 48 ,Wake Christian 12

The Hurricanes opened up to an 18-1 run as Grace Andrews led the way with 12 points. Cape Fear (1-4) plays at Coastal Christian on Tuesday.



Greenville Christian 29, Wilmington Christian 25

The Patriots started sluggish and trailed by ten points at halftime and were never able to bounce back. Abby Squires led the way with 12 points for the Patriots and Meredith Bunn added 10. Wilmington Christian (1-4) plays Bethel Christian on Tuesday.



East Bladen 45, Union 8

The Eagles remain undefeated with a lopsided victory over Union that was highlighted by a 27-2 first quarter. Asha Graham led the way with 12 points and two three pointers. East Bladen (4-0) plays at Wallace-Rose Hill on Tuesday.



Trask 46, Dixon 33

Kate Friesen's double-double (10 points and 10 rebounds) and Ceandria Murphy's 14 points helped the Titans pick up their second win. Trask (2-1) plays Topsail on Tuesday.

Evan Head led the way for the Hurricanes with 14 points and 2 three-pointers and Gene Middleton added 10 points and 2 three-pointers. Cape Fear (2-3) plays Coastal Christian on Tuesday.



East Bladen 60, Union 48

Jaquan Jones led the way for the Eagles with 20 points and Matthew Masengill added 15 as they pick up the home victory. Brandon Lovett scored 11 points for Union. Union (0-1) plays North Duplin on Tuesday.



Trask 84, Dixon 63

Rahseed Brown exploded for seven 3-pointers and 41 points as the Titans pick up their first win of the season. Trask (1-2) plays Topsail on Tuesday.



Wilmington Christian 78, Greenville Christian 63

The Patriots jumped out to a nine point first quarter lead and never looked back. Jonah Attoe led the way with five 3-pointers and 21 pointers. Wilmington Christian (5-1) plays Bethel on Tuesday.
